My name is **Dr. Nina Peruško Matasić** and I am a paediatrician heart and soul. I graduated in medicine from the University of Zagreb (Croatia) in 1992. In the years since, I built up broad **international experience** as a paediatrician, across a wide range of care settings and with children from every corner of the world. I bring that broad background into every consultation: it taught me to look beyond the symptoms and to approach every child with an open, experienced eye.

## A familiar face in Limburg

For several years now I have been active in Limburg, including at Sint-Franciscusziekenhuis and Medpoint Hasselt. I know the region and its families well. I am now expanding my practice to **Medpoint Genk (Sledderlo)**, so that young families in Genk and the surrounding area can count on expert paediatric care close to home, without long waiting lists.

## My approach

I believe that good paediatric care starts with listening: to the child and to the parents. Every child is unique, with their own pace, their own character and their own needs. My approach is therefore always personal: I take the time, explain clearly what is going on, and work together with you to find the best way forward. My motto sums it up well: *we help every child shine in their own way!*
